New Water System Transforms Entire Village

December 15, 2024

In the remote village of Asamankese, life has completely changed since the installation of our solar-powered water system last month. What was once a daily struggle to access clean water has become a story of hope and transformation.

Before our intervention, villagers, mostly women and children, had to walk 3 kilometers each way to the nearest water source. Now, with three strategically placed water points powered by solar energy, clean water is available 24/7 right in the heart of the community.

"My daughters can now go to school every day instead of spending hours fetching water," says Akosua, a mother of three. "The whole village feels different. We're healthier, happier, and more hopeful about the future."

This project, made possible by generous donations from supporters worldwide, serves over 800 people and has already reduced waterborne illnesses by 90% in just one month.
